LifeScape to Dedicate Time Capsule at New Children’s Campus
LifeScape will mark a special milestone in the construction of its new Children’s Campus with a time capsule dedication ceremony on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. Members of the media are invited to attend and capture this moment in LifeScape’s history.
Created to be opened 100 years from now, the time capsule will preserve a snapshot of LifeScape in 2026 while honoring the organization’s rich history of supporting children and adults with disabilities throughout South Dakota. The capsule contains historical materials, photographs, stories, and contributions representing LifeScape’s mission, people, services, and community. Together, these items tell the story of where LifeScape began, how it has evolved, and the hopes it carries for future generations.
The dedication will take place at the site of LifeScape’s new Children’s Campus in northwest Sioux Falls. The brief ceremony offers an opportunity to reflect on the organization’s legacy while looking ahead to the future of services for children and families.
