Lexington Regional Health Center Ranked Among Best Places to Work in Healthcare

Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC) is proud to announce it has been ranked nationwide in the category of providers and insurers on Modern Healthcare's 2026 Best Places to Work in Healthcare list. The recognition was announced during the annual Best Places to Work in Healthcare Awards Gala held September 16 in Houston, Texas.

The prestigious national award recognizes healthcare organizations that excel in creating exceptional workplace cultures and fostering environments where employees feel engaged, supported, and empowered to succeed.

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it is based largely on employee feedback gathered through an extensive workplace assessment and employee survey process conducted by Workforce Research Group in partnership with Modern Healthcare.

"This recognition belongs to every member of our team," said Jason Douglas, Chief Executive Officer of Lexington Regional Health Center. "At LRHC, we believe that when we invest in our people, we strengthen our ability to care for our patients and communities. Being ranked among the top healthcare workplaces in the nation is a reflection of the incredible culture our employees have helped create."

The Best Places to Work in Healthcare program evaluates organizations on employee engagement, leadership, culture, benefits, communication, and overall workplace experience. LRHC's ranking highlights the organization's ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, heard, and connected to the mission of delivering exceptional care close to home.

"We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to our employees for sharing their feedback and helping shape our workplace culture," said Jill Denker, Chief Human Resources Officer. "This recognition validates the work our team has done to foster an environment built on respect, collaboration, professional growth, and a shared commitment to serving our patients and one another."

Over the last several years, LRHC has focused on strengthening employee engagement, expanding wellness initiatives, investing in leadership development, and enhancing opportunities for professional growth. These efforts support the organization's mission of providing high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring employees have the resources and support they need to thrive.

Being named one of Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work reinforces LRHC's reputation as an employer of choice in rural healthcare and highlights the organization's dedication to building a workplace culture where employees can do their best work every day.
