Learn How Inspire® Therapy Can Improve Sleep at Lunch & Learn

If you suffer from sleep apnea and have had difficulties with traditional treatments, there’s another option.

Columbus Community Hospital is offering a free Lunch & Learn featuring Dr. Lauren Jazwick, otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat doctor) with Columbus Otolaryngology Clinic. She will discuss a groundbreaking treatment option for obstructive sleep apnea called Inspire therapy. Inspire therapy can help people who struggle with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, offering a promising alternative to help them manage their condition effectively.

Obstructive sleep apnea affects approximately 22 million Americans and can lead to serious health consequences if left untreated. It occurs when the airway collapses during sleep, disrupting oxygen flow to the brain and leading to difficulty with sleeping.

The event will be at noon on Thursday, July 10, in the Platte and Prairie rooms at Columbus Community Hospital. Jazwick will discuss how Inspire therapy works and what specific criteria a person needs to

qualify as a candidate. Following the presentation, Jazwick will answer questions.

Participants should register for the event by Tuesday, July 8, by calling 402-562-3380 or visiting columbushosp.org. Registration includes a light lunch.

Attendees may choose to attend in person or via Zoom. A link to the Zoom event is available online.
