Kearney Regional Medical Center Celebrates First Baby of 2026

Kearney Regional Medical Center (KRMC) is proud to announce the arrival of its first baby of the new year. Malachi William Hare was born on January 2, 2026, at 7:47 a.m. at KRMC’s Maternity Care Center. 

Malachi weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 19 inches long. Proud parents Stacia Study and Seth Hare are thrilled to welcome their new son, who joins three older sisters at home. 

The delivery was attended by Dr. Jesse Loeffler and Dr. Holly Groteluschen, along with KRMC’s dedicated maternity care team. 

KRMC’s Maternity Care Center provides comprehensive, family-centered care for mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for every birth. The team at KRMC is honored to have played a part in this special milestone and looks forward to welcoming more babies into the world throughout the year.
