Kimberly Hinkel Joins Essentia Health–32nd Avenue Clinic as Interventional Neurologist Provider

Kimberly Hinkel, a certified physician assistant, is excited to join the Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic to practice interventional neurology.

“Essentia Health has been a central part of my professional journey,” explained Hinkel, who has worked in diagnostic imaging at Essentia for seven years. “The support, mentorship and sense of community I found here made a lasting impact. I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back and to serve the patients and community I’ve grown to care deeply about in this new role.”

Hinkel received her education from the University of North Dakota and she is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“My passion for stroke care began early in life,” said Hinkel. “Watching my grandmother’s recovery from a stroke opened my eyes to the critical importance of timely and compassionate neurological care. That experience stayed with me and became the driving force behind my decision to pursue a career in interventional neurology.”
