Kim Jensen, Avera's Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), has been recognized by Becker's Hospital Review's 2026 list of chief people officers to know.

Jensen has served as CHRO at Avera Health since 2018, leading systemwide human resources strategy and workforce initiatives. With more than 20 years of experience at Avera, she has played a pivotal role in centralizing human resources operations across the Avera system and implementing key programs to strengthen workforce development. Jensen has also enhanced workforce alignment and satisfaction via standardized employment practices, systemwide online performance reviews and employee engagement surveys.
