Howard County Medical Center Unveils New MRI Suite

Howard County Medical Center (HCMC) has begun scanning patients in its new MRI Suite, providing advanced imaging inside the hospital for the first time.

Previously, patients needing MRI scans were seen in a mobile trailer parked outside the facility. The new permanent suite offers greater comfort, faster scan times, and clearer images. With Nebraska’s unpredictable weather, the ability to keep patients and staff indoors is invaluable.

Our communities deserve high-quality care close to home. This investment makes the MRI experience easier, faster, and more convenient while supporting our ongoing efforts to strategically improve patient care.

Appointments are now being scheduled. For more information, patients can contact their provider or call HCMC at 308-754-4421.
