Hospital Releases Inaugural Community Benefit Report
At Columbus Community Hospital, we strive every day to do whatever it takes to help everyone in our region — not just inside our hospital, but also beyond our walls. By working with partners in the community to provide medical services and advocate for the under-resourced, we make life safer and healthier for everyone in the community — no matter where they live.
As a not-for-profit hospital, CCH has established financial aid policies to assist patients who cannot afford care. It also provides assistance for community health initiatives and education for health care professionals, and donates services and funds to help further our mission and goals. The recently released 2022-23 Community Benefit Annual Report highlights many of these contributions.
The report includes:
An overview of community benefit and its objectives.
Annual community benefit contribution statistics.
A feature on two community benefit programs.
An overview of current community benefit priorities.
The annual report focuses on the fiscal year 2022-23, between May 1, 2022, and April 30, 2023.
