Great Plains Restorative Services Joins Sanford Health Equip in Bismarck
Sanford Health Equip has expanded its footprint in western North Dakota with the addition of Great Plains Restorative Services, a trusted home medical equipment provider serving Bismarck, Dickinson and surrounding rural communities. This transition enhances access to essential home medical equipment and services, helping more patients receive the support they need to live safely and independently.
Great Plains Restorative Services has long been recognized for its deep community connections and patient-centered approach. By joining Sanford Health Equip, those relationships will be strengthened through expanded resources, a broader product offering and a regional network of care.

Patients currently receiving services through Great Plains Restorative Services will transition to Sanford Health Equip and patients will be contacted directly with information about next steps and any changes to services. Some services previously offered by Great Plains — including home and vehicle modifications — will not continue under Sanford Health Equip. Additionally, Sanford Health Equip will not acquire Great Plains’ physical locations.
