CHI Health Good Samaritan ICU Receives Recognition for Nursing Excellence

The Intensive Care Unit team at CHI Health Good Samaritan was recently honored with a Silver Beacon of Excellence Award from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. The award recognizes high-quality patient care within a supportive and collaborative work environment. It signifies a commitment to excellence and rigorous standards for evidence based practices, staff engagement and patient outcomes.

“This award recognizes the exceptional care our team provides today, and the dedication to continuous learning and growth for the best possible patient outcomes in the future,” states Megan Uphoff, director of Critical Care. “It also acts as a beacon to attract other talented nurses who are seeking an environment of excellence where they can pursue the highest standards of patient care.”
