CHI Health Good Samaritan Named One of America’s 250 Best Hospitals, Ranking in Top 5% Nationwide
CHI Health Good Samaritan announced today that it has been named one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades. The achievement reflects Good Samaritan’s commitment to clinical excellence and top-tier patient care, placing the organization in the top 5% of U.S. hospitals for overall clinical performance.
Only two Nebraska hospitals received the national distinction, both of which are part of CHI Health. The other recipient is CHI Health Lakeside in Omaha.
Good Samaritan was also recognized by Healthgrades for its exceptional patient outcomes in key service areas, including being named among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Critical Care for the sixth year and once again receiving Healthgrades Outpatient Joint Replacement Excellence Award.
“These accolades underscore a long-standing dedication to our community, from investing in the latest technology, to attracting only the best staff, to delivering the highest quality care. More than that, this recognition is based solely on what matters most: patient outcomes,” says Kimber Bonner, vice president, Patient Care Services. “Our patients can feel confident in their decision to seek care at Good Samaritan, an organization that is setting the standard for clinical excellence nationwide.”
Healthgrades, the top resource for Americans seeking a doctor or hospital, determined the highest-ranking hospitals by assessing risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates. This analysis covered more than 30 common conditions and procedures across approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide.
