Get Your Flu Shot at Sanford Wahpeton

Sanford Health Wahpeton, 332 Second Ave. N, is now offering the influenza (flu) vaccination to patients 6 months and older.

A flu vaccine can protect the public from getting sick and protect the people around them. The CDC recommends annual flu vaccines for everyone 6 months and older, especially those at higher risk of complications including pregnant women, older adults and young children.

Sanford Wahpeton will be hosting flu vaccine events every Thursday starting Sept. 12 through Oct. 10, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. for individuals aged 65 and older, and from 3 to 5 p.m. for individuals 64-years-old and younger. Additionally, an event will be held on Oct. 17 and 18, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for individuals of all ages.

Patients can call 701-642-7000 to schedule an appointment. In addition, several Sanford clinic locations will be hosting individual flu vaccine events. Find an event near you at sanfordhealth.org.
