Faisal Siddiqui, MD, Joins CHI St. Alexius Health Neonatal Clinic

CHI St. Alexius Health is pleased to welcome Faisal Siddiqui, MD, who specializes in neonatology, to the care team in Bismarck. As a neonatologist, he takes care of the tiniest, most vulnerable patients.

Dr. Siddiqui received his medical degree from Nishtar Medical University, Multan, Pakistan. He completed his pediatric residency and neonatal fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.

He has particular interest in intermittent hypoxia, which happens with fluctuations in oxygen levels in extremely small babies who need respiratory support, and can lead to worsening chronic lung disease and retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. Siddiqui also has special interest in optimization of growth and nutrition in these extremely vulnerable babies, which helps in their long term neurodevelopmental outcomes.
