Explore Weight Loss Options at Sanford Bismarck’s Doc Talk Event

Sanford Bismarck will host a Doc Talk, “Obesity and weight loss options,” from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Bismarck State College National Energy Center of Excellence, 1200 Schaffer St., in Bismarck.
Andrew Dockter, M.D., a family medicine physician, will speak on obesity and its impact on health and various weight loss options available today. Dr. Dockter will provide an overview of the causes and health risks associated with obesity, while offering practical advice on lifestyle changes, medical interventions and other treatment options to help individuals achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
A social with light appetizers will begin at 4:30 p.m. and at 5 p.m. the presentation will begin in Basin Electric Auditorium #304. The event is free to attend but registration is required. Join in person at Bismarck State College National Energy Center of Excellence or virtually via Webex.
