Essentia Health–Fargo Welcomes Emergency Medicine Physician Dr. Dustin Leigh

Dr. Dustin Leigh, an emergency medicine physician, is excited to join Essentia Health-Fargo.

“The leadership Essentia Health has instilled across the organization is unrivaled,” said Dr. Leigh of his decision to join the Essentia team. “Essentia has also been able to create a rewarding, supportive culture, which optimizes practitioners to support and provide wonderful care to the community.”

Dr. Leigh received his medical degree from the University of North Dakota. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and a fellowship in undersea and hyperbaric medicine at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis. Dr. Leigh is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

“Emergency medicine was an easy choice for me,” explained Dr. Leigh, who started in the field almost 15 years ago. “I had a wonderful mentor and was drawn to the variety of conditions requiring emergency intervention where you could significantly impact a patient’s well-being.”
