Essentia Health to Offer Walk-In Sports Physical Blitzes
To help student-athletes prepare for the 2025-26 sports season, Essentia Health will offer several walk-in sports physical blitzes in June and July.
Blitzes will be held at the Essentia Health-West Fargo Clinic, located at 1401 13th Ave. E., and the Essentia Health-52nd Ave. Clinic, located at 4110 51st Ave. S., on the following days and times:
8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18
8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25
8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8
8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16
Sports physicals are required for children to compete in school sports and can help identify any health issues that might interfere with sports performance or increase the chances of injury. Getting a sports physical done early helps beat the rush before the school year begins.
In North Dakota, sports physicals conducted on or after April 15 are good for the following school year. In Minnesota, sports physicals completed on or after April 13 are good for three years. Forms are available online at ndhsaa.com (North Dakota) and mshsl.org (Minnesota).
These events are walk-in only. You do not need an appointment.
Athletes are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Sports physicals are $57 if not using insurance. Student-athletes do not need to be Essentia patients.
