Essentia Health-Wahpeton Clinic Launches Walk-In Care Services

The Essentia Health-Wahpeton Clinic is excited to begin offering a new walk-in care service to the community.

Walk-in hours will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. This convenient service begins on Monday, Nov. 4.

Essentia Health walk-in care offers an intermediate level of care. This can include care for illnesses and injuries that are not life-threatening but may need X-rays and/or lab tests that require a blood draw. Care may be provided by doctors, nurse practitioners or physician assistants in internal and family medicine. No appointment is necessary.

“We are excited to begin offering a new option for this critical service to the Wahpeton community,” said Julie Rosenberg, operations director at the Essentia Health-Wahpeton Clinic. “We know life doesn’t always go according to plan, and it’s important that our rural communities have access to the right level of care at the right time and as close to home as possible.”

For questions about walk-in care, please contact the Essentia Health-Wahpeton Clinic, located at 275 11th St. S., at (701) 642-2000.
