Essentia Health-South University Clinic Welcomes Radiation Oncologist Dr. David Schwartz

The Essentia Health-South University Clinic is excited to welcome radiation oncologist Dr. David Schwartz.

“Essentia is a well-regarded and highly collaborative organization with a longstanding tradition of putting the needs of patients first,” he said of his decision to join Essentia Health.

Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree from Mayo Clinic Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at Mayo Clinic.

“The impact of early childhood experiences of close family members struggling with cancer convinced me that I could do something to help cancer patients,” explained Dr. Schwartz. “When I discovered radiation oncology, I found my calling.”
