Essentia Health-South University Clinic Welcomes Pulmonary Specialist Caitlyn Cameron

The Essentia Health-South University Clinic is excited to welcome certified physician assistant, Caitlyn Cameron, who specializes in pulmonology.

“I love that the Fargo area keeps growing, yet it continues to have a small-town community feeling. I think it is a wonderful place to raise my family and grow in my career,” said Cameron. “I am excited about the Monarch robotic technology we have available for our patients as well as Essentia’s work within the community.”

Cameron received her medical education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“My undergraduate degree is in respiratory therapy, and while I loved this role I also realized that I wanted to be able to do more for my patients, so I returned to school to obtain my degree as a physician assistant,” Cameron, who also attended North Dakota State, said. “Working in pulmonology brings me back to my roots of helping my patients breathe, which is what I love. I am particularly interested in the management of asthma and lung screenings for early diagnosis of lung cancer.”

To schedule an appointment with Cameron, please call (701) 364-8900. To see her full profile, please visit EssentiaHealth.org and click on “Doctors & Providers.”
