Essentia Health-South University Clinic Welcomes Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Emily Swenson

The Essentia Health-South University Clinic is proud to welcome Emily Swenson, a licensed independent clinical social worker specializing in behavioral health, who has spent most of her adult life living in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

“I felt drawn to Essentia’s mission — we are called to make a healthy difference in people’s lives,” Swenson said. “I feel like that describes what my aim is when I work with people to make changes or process something they’ve gone through.”

Swenson received her medical education from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks.

“Working in mental health has always been something I’ve enjoyed,” she said. “It’s meaningful for me to connect with people and find out their goals to improve their lives, and I feel it’s a privilege to walk alongside them as they follow their path to wellness.”

To make an appointment with Swenson, please call (701) 364-1000. To see her full profile or schedule online, visit EssentiaHealth.org and click on “Doctors & Providers.”
