Essentia Health-South University Clinic Welcomes Rheumatology Specialist Keleigh Renz

The Essentia Health-South University Clinic is excited to welcome Keleigh Renz, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in rheumatology.

“I chose to join Essentia as a new graduate nurse practitioner because of the ‘transition to practice’ program that offers new providers support and guidance as they transition into their new role,” explained the longtime Moorhead resident. “I also have many friends in various health care positions at Essentia, and they have always felt supported and valued as Essentia employees, which is important to me.”

Renz received her medical education from North Dakota State University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I really enjoyed my rheumatology clinical rotation while in school and I found myself wanting to learn more about rheumatological conditions and their treatment,” said Renz. “Rheumatological conditions affect several body systems, and in this specialty I can continue to learn and expand my knowledge.”

“Patient education is a passion I want to bring to my practice to help patients be knowledgeable about their conditions and treatment so they can make informed decisions about their health care and overall be in control of their own health,” she added.
