Essentia Health-Osgood Clinic Welcomes Family Medicine And Gender Affirming Care Specialist Dr. Mayson (Amy) Bedient

The Essentia Health-Osgood Clinic is proud to welcome Dr. Mayson (Amy) Bedient, who specializes in family medicine and gender affirming care.

“I chose Essentia Health because I was looking for a system that values primary care and keeping patients healthy rather than involving only specialty care,” said Dr. Bedient. “I chose Fargo because I wanted a large enough city that has all the amenities but not so big that it is overwhelming and loses that feeling of home.”

Dr. Bedient received his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. They completed their residency through the Williamsport Family Medicine Residency Program in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

“I like the variety in family medicine,” said Dr. Bedient. “It also gives me the best opportunity to pursue my interest in social justice and healthcare equity. My goal is to provide high-quality care to all of my patients, no matter who they are or where they come from; everyone gets my best effort. I want to meet my patients where they are and give them the care they need and want from me.”
