Essentia Health-Mid Dakota Bismarck Gateway Clinic Welcomes Family Medicine Specialist Adria Ridl

The Essentia Health-Mid Dakota Bismarck Gateway Clinic is excited to welcome Adria Ridl, a certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine.

“I have been working in primary care since completing grad school,” said Ridl. “It is where my heart is. Essentia Health has a very strong presence here and is a well-run medical facility.”

Ridl received her medical education from the University of North Dakota. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“Following graduate school, I did not have a specialty that really pulled me,” explained Ridl. “I have always loved women's health but did not want to do solely OBGYN. Family medicine seemed like the best fit to help me determine if a specialty was something I was interested in. I have not left primary care since.”

“The relationships that are built make it such a rewarding practice,” she added. “We get to assess the 'whole' person and help them determine how to individualize and manage their care.”
