With Auto Refill, Essentia Health Makes It Easier To Get Medications On Time

Our patients who use Essentia Health pharmacies now have an easier way to refill prescriptions — Auto Refill.  

With Auto Refill, a patient’s pharmacy can automatically refill certain medications and notify them when it’s ready, without having to call or make a request online. Notifications, such as texts, emails or MyChart alerts, are sent when the prescription is ready for pick-up. If someone’s prescription is out of refills, the pharmacy team will automatically request more from the prescribing provider.   

Auto Refill is a free service that will make it easier for our patients to get the medications they need on time. The patient must use the MyChart patient portal to access Auto Refill, and some medication and insurance restrictions apply.
