Essentia Health-Fargo Welcomes Cardiothoracic Surgery Specialist Ilene Brackin

Ilene Brackin, a certified physician assistant specializing in cardiothoracic surgery, is excited to join Essentia Health-Fargo.

“What I enjoy most about my job is the ability to be involved in the total patient care — from preoperative work-up assessments with risk stratification, intraoperatively in the OR and post-operatively with hospital and clinical engagements” said Brackin. “This model of care helps to develop strong, healthy and trusting relationships between providers and their patients.”

Brackin received her medical education at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana.

“I believe in the motto ‘if you can dream it, you can do it,’ ” said Brackin. “I will strive to do my utmost best to provide outstanding care for our patients and their family members.”
