Essentia Health–Mid Dakota Welcomes Family Medicine Practitioner Amy Heim

Amy Heim, an advanced practice nurse and certified nurse practitioner who will practice family medicine, is excited to join the Essentia Health-Mid Dakota Bismarck Kirkwood Clinic.

“Essentia Health has an excellent reputation for quality care and a family atmosphere,” said Heim. “It felt like a natural transition for me.”

Heim received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I love family practice,” said Heim. “Caring for patients of all ages and getting to know them individually is such a blessing. Every day is different in family medicine, and it’s quite challenging at times, but it’s so rewarding to be a part of improving someone’s overall well-being.”
