Essentia Health Launches Drive-Thru Flu Vaccination Clinic in Bismarck

Flu season is here, and one of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones is to get vaccinated.

The Essentia Health-Mid Dakota Bismarck Gateway Clinic, located at 2700 State St., will offer a convenient drive-thru flu shot clinic from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11.

Flu vaccines are available for people 6 months of age and older. High-dose flu vaccines are also available for people aged 65 and older. Please note that drive-thru flu shots are available for people 12 years of age and older. Children under the age of 12 will need to receive their flu shot inside the clinic.

Flu vaccines are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial and private insurance plans. Remember to wear short sleeves for easy administration. You do not need to be an Essentia patient to attend.
