Essentia Health-52nd Avenue Clinic Welcomes Walk-In Care Specialist John Seifert

The Essentia Health-52nd Avenue Clinic is excited to welcome John Seifert, a certified physician assistant who specializes in walk-in care.

“I decided early on in my health care career that I wanted to work in family medicine because I prefer to work with all patient types, and family medicine affords me this opportunity,” said Seifert. “I also have a master’s in public health with a specialization in infectious disease management as public health and infectious disease both interest me a great deal.”

Seifert received his medical education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“I have always had the desire to help others,” said Seifert. “I joined the North Dakota Army National Guard in high school as a medic and have almost 20 years of service. I strive to seek actual solutions in the practice of medicine over a quick fix.”
