Essentia Health-52nd Avenue Clinic Welcomes Pediatric Walk-In Care Specialist Sidney Johnk

The Essentia Health-52nd Avenue Clinic is excited to welcome Sidney Johnk, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric walk-in care.

“I have always been passionate about working with children,” said Johnk, a long-time Moorhead resident and mother of three. “I have spent many years working in pediatric primary care as well as pediatric walk-in. I love providing care for children to get them feeling better and back to playing!”

Johnk received her medical education from Maryville University in Missouri. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

“I want my patients and their families to leave the walk-in clinic feeling heard and well cared for,” said Johnk. “Caring for a sick child can be scary, so it is my job to provide reassurance and ensure that the family is comfortable with the plan of care to get their child back to feeling well again.”
