Dr. Richardson Joins CHI Health Clinic Kearney

CHI Health Clinic Kearney welcomes board certified family medicine physician Abby Richardson to its staff. Dr. Richardson specializes in providing primary care to all ages, including obstetrics–pregnancy care, labor and delivery.

Dr. Richardson received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. She acquired a Master’s of Science in Nursing to become a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) from Creighton University. Dr. Richardson then completed her doctorate studies receiving her Medical Degree from the University of Science, Arts and Technology, and most recently completed her residency through the UNMC Rural Family Medicine Residency in Kearney. 

Dr. Richardson is bilingual, speaking advanced-level Spanish. 

When serving as a nurse practitioner, Dr. Richardson provided medical care in Costa Rica, El Salvador, as well as Nebraska. As an advocate for underserved populations, she initiated the Walk for Freedom in Kearney to help end human trafficking. 

Dr. Richardson is originally from Kearney. She is married to husband Matthew, who teaches at Kearney High School. The couple have four children.

Dr. Richardson joins family medicine doctors Becker, Ernst, Larson, Moeller and Sokolowski. Their practice, located at 211 W. 23rd, is open Monday through Friday from 7 am until 5 pm. Priority care is available daily from 8 am until 8 pm.
