Dr. Harish Ahuja, Oncologist and Hematologist, Joins Essentia Health-South University Clinic

The Essentia Health-South University Clinic is proud to welcome oncologist and hematologist Dr. Harish Ahuja.

“I chose to join Essentia because it is a very successful health care system in the Midwest,” explained Dr. Ahuja. “I like that it is physician driven, and I identify with Essentia’s vision. During my site visit, I was impressed by the excellent care I witnessed from the various providers and appreciated the friendliness of the staff.”

Dr. Ahuja earned his medical degree from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India. He completed his residency in oncology at the State University of New York in Buffalo. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

“I am naturally very curious and inquisitive, so I was drawn to hematology and oncology,” explained Dr. Ahuja. “Throughout my training, I saw several advances in this field and was happy to contribute to these advances, primarily through laboratory and clinical research.

“I am compassionate and work from the principle that my patients deserve the same care as my family members.”
