Dr. Karl Francis Joins CHI Health General Surgery in Kearney

Karl M. Francis, Jr., MD, FACS

CHI Health Clinic General Surgery (Good Samaritan) welcomes Karl M. Francis, Jr., MD, FACS, board-certified general surgeon, to its staff.

With extensive training in general and trauma surgery, Dr. Francis specializes in diagnosing and performing procedures for a wide range of medical conditions, including critical and life-threatening injuries. His advanced skills include cutting-edge, robot-assisted surgical techniques. He has also served as a clinical instructor committed to preparing the next generation of healthcare providers.

Dr. Francis earned his medical degree from St. George’s University, Great River, New York. He then completed a general surgical residency at Creighton University, Omaha.

Dr. Francis joins board-certified general surgeons Drs. Maloley, Merz, O’Hare, Sorrell and Certified Physician Assistants Koster and Uhrich.

CHI Health Clinic General Surgery (Good Samaritan), located on the second floor of Good Samaritan’s Medical Building at 3219 Central Ave, is open weekdays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The group also provides outreach surgical care in several surrounding communities including Cambridge, Cozad, Gothenburg, Holdrege and Phillipsburg, Kansas.
