Dr. Anthony Krueger Is Columbus’ Doctor for Radiology
At Columbus Community Hospital, our doctors are an incredibly important part of our community — which is why “community” is our middle name.
One local doctor who consistently delivers the best for our area is radiologist Dr. Anthony Krueger with North Central Radiology. Krueger and his team interpret imaging tests, allowing providers to view what’s happening inside a patient’s body. Some of the tests his team reads include: radiography (X-ray), computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), mammography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, bone density (DEXA) and nuclear medicine exams, among other medical imaging.
Krueger said he appreciates the opportunity to provide relief and other care for patients — such as a steroid injection for pain, or thoracentesis or paracentesis to relieve pain and discomfort from too much fluid in the chest or abdomen.
“I enjoy reporting encouraging findings on a follow-up CT scan or MRI after cancer or other treatment,” he said.
Krueger chose Columbus, he said, because it had everything his family was looking for in a community — a small town with good schools, activities for kids, an excellent medical staff and a supportive and caring administration.
“My patients are my family, friends, neighbors and others I may have met around town,” he said. “We can provide great care right here in our community using all the latest technology, and still have the comfort of being close to home. The hospital is community-owned, locally operated and not-for-profit, ensuring the community and hospital are always aligned in doing what’s best for the patient — who happens to be myself, my family and my friends.”
Columbus Community Hospital’s caregivers embrace the shared values and enhance the lives of those they are proud to call friends and neighbors — right here, in the heart of our community.
