Coss To Lead Huron Regional Medical Center Physicians Clinic

Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is pleased to announce Jeremy Coss has joined HRMC as the director of the HRMC Physicians Clinic, according to Erick Larson, president and CEO for HRMC.

As director of the HRMC Physicians Clinic, Coss is responsible for directing and coordinating the operation of the clinic, working with staff, providers and leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality primary and specialty care, close to home.

“Jeremy’s professional experience paired with his passion for rural health care, quality improvement, and the people of this region will help us continue to grow and enhance the care we deliver at the HRMC Physicians Clinic,” said Larson.

Originally from Miller, Coss earned a Bachelor of Health Services Administration in 2018 and a Master of Business Administration with a Health Services Administration Specialization in 2019, both from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. In 2020, Coss completed an administrative fellowship with Sanford Health, conducting research, assisting with project management and participating in educational rotations in various hospital and clinic departments. Coss previously worked as a clinic manager and senior hospital administrator at Avera Medical Group in Estherville, Iowa since 2020.

Coss is eager to bring his experience in health care leadership and enthusiasm for ensuring quality care for others a little closer to home.  “It’s of incredible value to me to take part in serving the health care needs of the communities close to my home and to impact each individual life as part of a health care team,” said Coss. “At HRMC, we have a great opportunity to meet the needs of not just our community here in Huron, but the communities in our region surrounding Huron as well.”

Coss enjoys hiking, traveling, playing with his dog and riding his motorcycle. Previously, he was a Special Olympics coach for soccer, basketball and swimming and looks forward to getting involved in the Huron community.
