Cortney Atkins Joins Essentia Health Fargo for Behavioral Health

The Essentia Health-South University Clinic is excited to welcome Cortney Atkins, a licensed psychologist in behavioral health.

“I chose to join Essentia Health because of how much I enjoyed and felt welcomed during the interview process by the colleagues I would be working alongside,” said Atkins. “I’m excited by the opportunities that will allow me to grow and learn new skills from other talented providers.”

Atkins earned her degree from the California School of Professional Psychology.

“Growing up in a rural area that lacked mental health services and education, I understand how difficult and scary it can feel navigating and beginning mental health treatment for the first time and the value of providing a safe place for patients to feel comfortable, understood and empowered,” explained Atkins.
