Community Members Encouraged to Attend Hospital's Second Annual Harvest for Health
Columbus Community Hospital is proud to announce its second annual Harvest for Health community event from 7 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Columbus Fieldhouse in Columbus.
The hospital invites community members of all ages to join and learn more about health care products, services and new offerings in the community from more than 40 area businesses.
The event will feature three speakers. Dr. Lauren Jazwick with Columbus Otolaryngology Clinic will share information about our ears, nose and throat. Following her presentation, Lucas Novotny, director of performance and training at Columbus Sports Performance Center, will discuss how you can get active again. He will also give a 30-minute tour of his training area. Finally, Dr. Dillon Clarey with Columbus Dermatology Clinic will discuss how to protect your skin through all seasons of life.
Columbus Community Hospital will also offer various health screenings and services for free. Attendees can take advantage of free blood pressure, vision, bone mineral density and heart-health fingerstick screenings. Flu shots, Prevnar 20 vaccinations and in-depth health screenings are available at a discounted rate.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information on the Harvest for Health community event, visit columbushosp.org.
