Come One, Come All To The Greatest Kids Academy In Columbus

This summer, help your children learn how to make healthy choices at Columbus Community Hospital’s Kids Academy.

The two-day camp takes place from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Aug. 2-3 at the Columbus Wellness Center. The hospital invites all children entering fourth, fifth and sixth grades to attend the camp. The cost to attend is $25 per child.

During the camp, kids will learn from health care professionals how to make healthy choices about exercise, nutrition and safety. Topics include:

  • Bicycle, pedestrian, home and fire safety.

  • Peer pressure.

  • Healthy eating.

  • Dealing with stress.

  • Navigating social network sites safely.

  • Physical activity to help kids stay active for life.
