Columbus Community Hospital invites families to join in the holiday fun at its annual Letters to Santa event on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 4-6 p.m. Families can bring letters and take pictures with the Big Red Guy during this festive visit.
Children who bring a letter for Santa should include their first and last name and a return address so Santa’s workshop can send a personal response.
For families unable to attend the Dec. 3 event, they can still drop off letters to Santa at The Gift Shop inside the hospital between Dec. 3-17 during the following hours:
Monday-Wednesday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The hospital will send all letters collected during this time to Santa’s workshop, so every child who writes receives a response.
“Letters to Santa is a fun way to connect with the community,” said Angie Ramaekers, director of volunteer and guest services at the hospital. “Columbus Community Hospital cares about families, and Letters to Santa is one way we show this.”
Columbus Community Hospital encourages community members to take part in this heartwarming tradition and help spread holiday cheer throughout the Columbus area.
