Columbus Community Hospital to Host 11th Annual Eggsperience Drive-Thru Celebration
Columbus Community Hospital will host its 11th annual Eggsperience drive-thru celebration from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, April 14, outside CCH’s main entrance at 4600 38th St. in Columbus.
The event is for children ages 2 to 7. Drivers should use the south entrance off 38th Street to enter the CCH campus, and drive to the main entrance, where the Easter Bunny will be handing out treat bags for each child while supplies last.
“We are happy to continue this event through the COVID-19 pandemic safely,” said Kristin Dahl, marketing director at the hospital. “It’s important for us to create positive experiences for our community. This is one event we hope will stand out in people’s minds when they think of our hospital.”
Those attending the event can also check out CCH’s Little Free Library near the Child Care Center, where they will find Easter books for children. The library is open year-round and provides free books for all ages.
“We recognize the importance of literacy in our community,” Dahl said. “Providing access to free reading materials is one way we can help improve the overall health and happiness of our community, which is one of our main concerns as a health care organization.”
CCH is also offering a special opportunity to win one of several grand prizes in celebration of the Eggsperience event. The prizes will encourage activity for those of all ages. Visit the hospital’s Facebook page and click the “like” icon for more information on entering into the drawing.
