Columbus Community Hospital Marks First Anniversary of Columbus Fieldhouse
Columbus Community Hospital is celebrating the first anniversary of the Columbus Fieldhouse — the ultimate destination for all things sports, fitness and community — by inviting the public to an open house on Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. The event includes tours, refreshments and exclusive door prize drawings.
Members of the public are welcome to enjoy guided tours of the facility at the top of every hour from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. They can speak with members of the Columbus Family YMCA about membership information, if interested.
There will also be exclusive door prizes available for all attendees to win, including:
An annual family membership to the Columbus YMCA.
A set of Sony wireless earbuds.
$250 worth of Columbus Bucks.
$250 Scheels gift card.
Apple watch.
Any attendee can enter into the drawing to win any of the door prizes — no membership is necessary. However, anyone who does sign up as a new member of the Columbus Fieldhouse will receive a special prize.
“The Columbus Fieldhouse is a game-changer for our community, because there truly is something
for everyone,” said Rob Marshall, director of the Columbus Fieldhouse. “There are activity opportunities available for individuals of all ages and skill levels. I’m excited to see the continued positive impact the facility will have on our community.”
The Columbus Fieldhouse is a 260,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility that offers sports and recreation, wellness, rehabilitative services and specialized sports performance services. Known as “The House,” the fieldhouse includes a full indoor soccer and football field with synthetic turf, and a suspended running and walking track — one of the longest suspended tracks in the country. To enhance community wellness and support competitive sports, The House also includes a two-court gymnasium, eight pickleball courts, tennis courts, racquetball courts, batting cages, locker rooms and a physical therapy suite. Numerous community amenities provide opportunities for everyone. They include multi-support simulators, an 8,000-square-foot trampoline park and an indoor realistic mini golf course.
The fieldhouse is located at 3912 38th St., Suite F., and its hours of operation are:
Monday-Saturday: 5 a.m.-10 p.m.
Sunday: Noon-7 p.m.
