Columbus Community Hospital Jarecki Promoted To Health And Wellness Manager

Columbus Community Hospital recently announced Ileana Jarecki as the new Occupational Health Services health and wellness manager.

Jarecki has been employed with the hospital since 2015 and has extensive knowledge of occupational health, human resources and public health. She has served in a leadership capacity, providing administrative support to the hospital wellness and workers’ compensation programs, CHIP and Club CHIP class offerings and onsite safety consulting at local business and industry.

“Ileana has been handling many of these responsibilities for quite a while now and doing a great job,” said Danielle Frewing, director of Occupational Health Services. “She has had a major role in our wellness program for several years. She’s done a lot to build this program, and I believe she will be a natural fit.”

Jarecki will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing hospital wellness initiatives. She will create programs, awareness, motivation and resources to help clients and staff maintain a healthy lifestyle.

“I can’t imagine being anyplace else to see the next phase of health and wellness for our dedicated employees, their spouses and families,” said Jarecki. “I am passionate about making it great for everyone, and I know we will continue to offer wonderful incentives for our employees to stay healthy and be well.”

The Occupational Health Services department offers a variety of health care programs designed to prevent and treat injuries in the workplace.
