Columbus Community Hospital Foundation Shares 2023-24 Annual Insights

The Columbus Community Hospital Foundation has released its 2023-24 annual report. The report highlights how the foundation supports the hospital.

Each year, the foundation raises money to fund important projects, purchase medical equipment and create programs that benefit area patients. Additionally, the foundation offers financial support through scholarships for current and future medical professionals.

In the 2023-24 fiscal year, the foundation continued to raise funds for the Columbus Fieldhouse. The money contributed to the new facility helps integrate fitness, wellness, rehabilitation services, sports medicine and athletic enhancement — all under one roof.

“The Columbus Fieldhouse project would not be possible without the generous support of local and area businesses,” said Jay Trofholz, chairman of the foundation. “We thank everyone for their support.”

In 2023, the foundation completed its 20th annual Holing Out Fore Health golf outing, which raises funds for therapy equipment and resources for Wiggles & Giggles Therapy for Kids.  It also continued to attract donors for the Sterling Society, a legacy-giving program the foundation began in 2021. DiStar Industries designed a donor wall for this special group of donors. Nameplates will continue to be created for any new Sterling Society donors as the foundation grows.

Other topics covered include the following:

  • Fund owner gifts

  • Scholarship awards

  • Donor recognition

  • 20th Annual Holing Out Fore Health golf outing

  • Memorials
