Columbus Community Hospital Foundation Releases 2022-23 Annual Report

The Columbus Community Hospital Foundation has released its 2022-23 annual report. The report highlights how the foundation supports the hospital.

Each year, the foundation raises money to fund important projects, purchase medical equipment and create programs to benefit area patients. Additionally, the foundation offers financial support through scholarships for current and future medical professionals.

In the 2022-23 fiscal year, the foundation continued to raise funds for Columbus Fieldhouse. That money contributed to a new sports complex/fieldhouse that will integrate fitness, wellness, rehabilitation services, sports medicine and athletic enhancement — all under one roof.

“The Columbus Fieldhouse project would not be possible without the generous support of local and area businesses,” said Jay Trofholz, chairman of the foundation. “We thank everyone for their support.”

In 2022, the foundation constructed a new donor wall at the hospital for The Sterling Society, a legacy-giving program the foundation began in 2021. DiStar Industries designed the donor wall and will continue to create nameplates for any new The Sterling Society donors as the foundation grows.

Other topics covered include the following:

  • Fund owner gifts.

  • Scholarship awards.

  • Donor recognition.

  • 19th Annual Holing Out Fore Health golf outing.

  • Memorials.
