CNOS Promotes Healthcare Education with Sioux City Career Academy, Celebrates Health Care Workers

CNOS is celebrating their partnership with the Sioux City Career Academy and the hard work of the area students who attend.

“CNOS has long been committed to healthcare education and the building of the  Siouxland workforce,” said CNOS CEO Nolan Lubarski. “And we’re just only beginning  to see the impact the Academy and the students can make.”

The CNOS Health Science Suite is located in the Sioux City Career Academy in the  Ho-Chunk Center. It allows students from area high schools to enroll in a career-focused courses that integrate academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge.

“This gives a huge boost to the health science area and to the students on their way to becoming health professionals,” said Katie Towler, Principal for Sioux City Community  School District and Sioux City Career Academy. “Nothing can top authentic experiences  and our partners at CNOS have graciously committed to providing these opportunities for  our students.”

Both CNOS and the Sioux City Public Schools Foundation are excited about this partnership because it will greatly enhance the opportunities for area students.

Lubarski added, “It’s a meaningful way to celebrate the efforts of our educators,  our health care workers and our future workers.”
