CNOS Continues Community Commitment Through CNOS Fieldhouse, Benefit For Siouxland Soup Kitchen

As CNOS continues to expand across Siouxland, they are making sure to never lose sight of their community roots.

The CNOS Fieldhouse facility hosts numerous tournaments and sporting events and serves as a regional attraction to teams and visitors. It also hosts educational and mentorship opportunities for area youth and families and includes a sports training room and health and wellness facility.

“The CNOS Fieldhouse has provided the Siouxland community with a state-of-the-art venue to train athletes year-round in a multitude of sports, while also providing a destination to host a wide array of sporting events and tournaments that make a huge economic impact on our entire business community,” said United Sports Academy Executive Director Shane Tritz. “We are beyond grateful to CNOS for their partnership and support and are excited to see what the future holds as we continue to grow and build our programs.”

It’s just one of the ways CNOS is giving back.

CNOS physicians and staff held the Coaches Golf Invitational on Monday, June 13 at Two Rivers Golf Club in North Sioux City. Nearly $5,000 was raised from the event benefitting the Siouxland Soup Kitchen.

“It was an excellent day to get outside and play some golf for a cause,” said David Rettedal, DPM of CNOS, also a Siouxland Soup Kitchen board member. “The Siouxland Soup Kitchen serves a great need and we’re happy to support it.”

Siouxland Soup Kitchen was founded in 1987 with a simple mission: To provide a free hot meal to anyone in need. The kitchen is 100 percent sustained by community donors and volunteers. The new facility is under construction at the corner of 9th and Nebraska.
