CNOS Announces Expansion Of Its List Of Health Services With Occupational Medicine

CNOS is pleased to announce that effective today, January 9, 2023, the addition of Occupational Medicine will be added to its list of service offerings. CNOS will be welcoming Dr. Douglas Martin who comes to us with over 25 years of experience in Sioux City, specializing in injury care management and occupational medicine.

Dr. Martin is serving as the 2022-2023 President of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM). "During my 28 years of occupational medicine practice in Siouxland, it has always been my primary goal to provide the best care possible to the injured worker, returning them to productivity as soon and as safely as possible. I believe that occupational medicine is a central core to the efficiency and economic success of any community.” Dr. Martin

Sarah Plueger

 CNOS is also welcoming Sarah Plueger, Physician Assistant, coming to us with 10 years of experience in the occupational medicine field here in Siouxland as well.

 This service line will consist of:

  • Injury Care Consultations

  • Social Security Disability Evaluations

  • Specialty Physicals (Immigration, FAA, FMCSA (truck drivers))

  • Post-Job Offer Evaluations

  • Independent Medical Exams

  • 2nd Opinion Evaluations

  • OSHA-required Regulatory Exams (Asbestos, HAZMAT, Toxicologic (lead, beryllium, zinc, etc.))

  • Fitness for Duty evaluations
