Dr. Dillon Clarey Achieves Board Certification In Dermatology

Columbus Community Hospital congratulates Dr. Dillon Clarey, a dermatologist with Columbus Dermatology Clinic, for achieving board certification in dermatology from the American Board of Dermatology.

Board certification is the highest standard in dermatology care. It shows that dermatologists have the clinical judgment and skills to provide excellent patient care.

"I am honored to achieve board certification," Clarey said. "I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to my mentors and attending physicians at University of Nebraska Medical Center for providing me with training, mentorship, knowledge and skills during my time in residency."

Clarey started the board certification process during the second and third year of his residency program. Following graduation, he completed an exam covering medical, surgical and pediatric dermatology, as well as dermatopathology.

"I am very proud of Dr. Clarey's accomplishment," said Dr. Mark Howerter, chief medical officer at Columbus Community Hospital. "This recognition highlights his determination and expertise, and I am confident patients are in the best of hands."

Clarey has been seeing patients at Columbus Dermatology Clinic since it opened in September 2023. He focuses on medical and surgical dermatology, while also providing cosmetic services.
