Columbus Community Hospital’s Home Health and Hospice Report Showcases a Year of Quality Care
Columbus Community Hospital recently released its home health and hospice annual report — a document that showcases both programs’ dedication to providing exceptional, patient-centered care.
The programs both offer skilled services to community members in the comfort of their own homes. Home health provides health care for patients who are recovering from surgeries or illnesses, or those who have chronic health conditions. Hospice is for patients with terminal illnesses who no longer benefit from curative treatment, and want to be comfortable in their final stages of life.
Some highlights in the annual report include:
Data showing patient-centered care: The National Research Corporation shared recent statistics of reviews and ratings from patients online.
A patient testimonial: Gary Abegglen talked about his positive experience with the programs, and how they helped him care for his wife at home in her last days.
The annual report focuses on the fiscal year 2024-25, between May 1, 2024, and April 30, 2025.
