Columbus Community Hospital Dietitians Offer Food For Thought In 2023

Have fun and learn how to live a healthier life with Food Thoughts, a free educational series of classes through Columbus Community Hospital.

Food Thoughts classes are from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. every Friday in the multipurpose room at the Columbus Wellness Center. Dietitians lead the classes and provide expert advice about health and nutrition.

  • Oct. 20 — What Are B Vitamins?

  • Oct. 27 — Cranberry Almond Breakfast Cereal (cooking demo)

  • Nov. 3 — 10 Must-Know Hybrid Fruits

  • Nov. 10 — Feed Your Family Healthfully on a Limited Budget

  • Nov. 17 — Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bars (cooking demo)

  • Nov. 24 — No class – Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Dec. 1 — Understanding Dates on Food Labels

  • Dec. 8 — 20 Money-Saving Ideas for Every Season

  • Dec. 15 — Family Exercise Ideas for Every Season

  • Dec. 22 — Quick Potato, Vegetable and Bean Stew (cooking demo)

  • Dec. 29 — No class – Happy New Year!
