Brookings Health Recognized in Becker’s 2024 100 Great Community Hospitals
Becker’s Hospital Review recently published its 100 Great Community Hospitals 2024 list, recognizing Brookings Health System as one of its top community hospitals.
In the list, Becker’s notes Brookings Health’s recent honors for quality, including:
Named a Top 20 Rural Community Hospital by the National Rural Hospital Association for the seventh time in 2024.
Awarded a Performance Leadership Award for the seventh consecutive year by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, with recognition in all three categories: quality, outcome and patient perspective.
Featured on Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals for four consecutive years.
The community hospitals honored by Becker’s are focused on bringing clinical and academic excellence, personalized and holistic care, and overall improved health to their communities.
The Becker’s editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on nominations and editorial research. Becker’s Healthcare considered several outside rankings and ratings organizations, including U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), The Leapfrog Group, the National Rural Health Association and The Chartis Center for Rural Health. Organizations do not pay and cannot pay for inclusion on the list.
